About Us:
We are forming a dedicated community health center committed to providing comprehensive healthcare services to our community. We will soon operate as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to all individuals, regardless of their ability to pay.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and motivated Community Clinic Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of FQHC clinic operations and development, coupled with the ability to independently manage and run our community clinic program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the community clinic, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of the community clinic program, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare laws and regulations, including reporting to appropriate authorities.
- Oversee billing and coding processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance from a community clinic perspective.
- Develop, implement, and monitor clinic policies and procedures in accordance with FQHC standards and regulations.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, staff, and community partners to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor and evaluate clinic performance, implementing improvements as needed to enhance service delivery.
- Collaborate with medical staff, administrative personnel, and external partners to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Prepare and maintain detailed records and reports on clinic activities, patient statistics, and program outcomes.
- Manage clinic schedules, patient flow, and resource allocation to optimize service delivery.
- Collect and analyze clinic performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including reporting requirements.
- Facilitate community outreach and engagement initiatives to promote clinic services and programs.
- Provide leadership and support to clinic staff, including training and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in FQHC clinic operations and development.
- Proficiency in medical billing and coding, specifically in a community clinic setting.
- Proven ability to run a community clinic program independently.
- Strong knowledge of FQHC regulations, compliance, and reporting requirements.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare technologies.
